Virtual Styling Cards(VSC)

This is a strong portfolio piece because it highlights your process rather than just the final outcome.

Before beginning any styling project, I create a styling card to visualize the complete look before sourcing or fitting garments. These cards serve as a blueprint for the styling process, allowing me to experiment with colour palettes, silhouettes, accessories, textures, and overall visual direction before bringing the concept to life.

The practice has become a key part of my creative workflow and is one of the qualities that distinguishes my approach as a stylist. Styling cards help both myself and the client clearly understand the intended outcome, making it easier to communicate ideas, refine concepts, and ensure that every element of the look works cohesively. They transform abstract ideas into tangible visual plans, giving clients confidence in the creative direction from the very beginning.

Through creating styling cards, I have developed skills in visual communication, concept development, trend research, colour coordination, and creative direction. The process has also strengthened my ability to translate mood, personality, and storytelling into wearable fashion concepts.

I have created styling cards for a range of creative projects and individuals, including @DIDI.STUDIOS and @_glockangel, using them as a tool to establish strong visual identities and ensure a clear creative vision throughout the styling process. These projects demonstrate my commitment to thoughtful preparation and my belief that successful styling begins long before the garments are worn.
